Philosophy

Our Philosophy prioritizes high academic standards, integrated critical thinking skills, and post-secondary readiness, addressing spiritual, mental, intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development while weaving spiritual principles throughout the curriculum. Our educators intentionally make sure biblical truths permeate instruction.

Partnership

Parent cooperation is crucial, and specific objectives support the philosophy’s implementation as we are partners in training the children in the way they should go. We prioritize a family atmosphere and coming alongside each other, UMBUNTU: I am because we are.

Strategy

We seek to look at the whole child, and equitable educational practices are a priority here at Vita Nova Christian Academy. We create balance and know that there is a time and place for everything. Our educational philosophy is to differentiate learning so that every student can access the rigorous and exceptional curriculum. We are concerned that the children learn, not just be equipped to take a test. We want each child to have a love of learning.
